Job Title:         Department Chair positions at Marshfield High School  Extra Duty 

                         One position is available for each of the following departments

Departments: 

CTE, Counseling, Lang Arts, Math, PE, Science, Soc Stud, SpEd, Fine Arts (includes foreign language)

Qualifications:

• Must be an effective educator.
• Must have effective communication skills and the ability to facilitate the learning of other adults.

Responsibilities:

• Advisory counsel for Principal
• Coordinates Staff Development
• Develops school and department goals
• Meets monthly with Principal
• Communicates with department in leadership role
• Carries out expectations of the staff development, goals, and school improvement
• At year-end, submits schedule needs for their department for the upcoming school year

Exclusions:

Department Chairs will not play a part in the evaluation of other licensed staff members.
